Simone Bensdorp is a textile artist based in Christchurch, New Zealand. She creates playful and practical felt works, using New Zealand wool and other natural fibres. Her work is grounded by a philosophy of resourcefulness, using local, repurposed and sustainable materials wherever possible. Simone is passionate about keeping traditional felt making skills alive, while continuing to expand and push boundaries with contemporary techniques. Small works are available to purchase online, or get in touch to discuss larger commissions.
